We started the day out with a Brainstart, in which we determined the author's message by utilizing evidence as support to our inference of what the author's message is.
Afterwards, we read Judith Viorst's Alexander, Who's Not Going to Move, and in prepartion to compare and contrast stories with the same characters, we focused on Alexander's change of emotions throughout the book!
We also spent some time today going over expectations for the field trip tomorrow by utilizing a thinking map!
We spent also spent some time today moving forward on our research projects, or worked on our Word Study skills through Lexia!
