We started the day out with a Brainstart which dealt with analyzing a problem to find different combinations for solutions, as well as decomposing to find the difference of a subtraction problem:
After the Brainstart, we got to finished up our "chocolate"posters which demonstrates our understanding that details support the main idea:
Afterwards, we read another chapter of The Chocolate Touch and compared/contrast our thoughts and feelings with those of the characters from the book:
For math today, we had our first foray into multiplication! We discussed and utilized arrays as a tool to illustrate multiplication problems:

After lunch we had another presentaion dealing with the Ohlone Indians:
Near the end of day, we came back to The Chocolate Touch, and answered questions using textual evidence from the book. We also utilized computers to define words we did not know:
