We started the day out with a quickwrite:
We then had a math session! We discussed, as a class, other patterns we saw in multiples of 5 and 10:
And we had a choice of working individually or with a partner on multiples of 3 and 6. The 6 was particularly challenging, as the products went past the hundreds chart!
We then discussed (again) coming up with a warrant to connect our evidence and claim. We answered an opinion question by giving a claim, citing evidence, and coming up with a warrant that explains how the evidence supports the claim. To make sure we had everything in order, we even color coded the claim, evidence, and warrant!
