In the morning we did a quick mini lesson on adverbs just to refresh the memory on what this part of speech is all about! We also did some freewriting, while other finished up their first draft of the paragraph of the Ramona Opinion Book report/review (that was mouthful!)

We then delved into writing the second paragraph of the book report! We had to state our opinion on whether Ramona Quimby was really a pest, and then we had to cite two examples from the book that support our position! (W.3.1 Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons)
During our math block, we focused again on triangles, we looked at several shapes in order to identify if they were, indeed, triangles using our knowledge of the attributes of triangles (three sides, three vertices, three angles)

Coming back from lunch, we had a bit of RTS,
And then we went over adverbs a bit more!
Near the end of the day, we had some good ol' fashioned P.E.!
