We started the day out with a quickwrite:
"Write some things you know about the planet Kashyyyk. Also, would you want to live in this planet? Why or why not?"
And then we did more close reading on the planet Kashyyyk! We found out that the Wookies species on this planet lived on the uppermost seventh level (out of seven levels) of this vertical environment as it was the most safest. We also learned the Wookies rarely traveled past the fourth level, as it got a great deal more dangerous after this level.

We also finished up some notes from yesterday on biomes in general, and we then took a quick look the rainforest biome (we're going to make connections with this biome and Kashyyyk's biome soon!)

Coming back from music, we had math in which we added to our groups of charts. We used these chart to then come up with multiplication word problems!
