Happy Thursday folks!

We started the day out with a morning activity which consisted of coming up with details about our self using a bubble map (which we will use for our homework tonight!)

We then read The Recess Queen as a class and utilized the Thinking Pathway icon Language of the Discipline to go more in depth with the words mean and friend in collaborative groups. We also found examples in the book to justify our definition for the words.

Using a flow map, we also worked with partners to come up with a procedure for getting in line:

We then read the next two chapters of Sideway Stories From Wayside School and tomorrow we will use a bubble map to explain character traits.

For math, we viewed a short video on perimeter and then used a 3-framed organizer to explain what perimeter is:
