Today was quite a dozy with all of the stuff we've been working on! We started it all out by learning how to write an introductory paragraph for our expository writing pieces:
We added an intro to our October Break expos writing, and did a final draft! We'll be talking about and adding a conclusion paragraph tomorrow!
We spent a good chunk of the day dealing with fractions. I assumed the students had an understanding of making a equal shares using fractions, but it is truly a challenging concept so it was a reteaching phase today before the students got into their equal shares posters!
