We switched things up today by doing math in the morning; I wanted to make sure I had enough time to execute my plan on using manipulatives to get the difference of a subtraction problem. Today's lesson seemed to clarify the regrouping bit some more, but we're still going to work on subtraction when we get back from break! (NBT.A.2 Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction)
We also continued to work on our Hanukkah vocabulary foldables in collaborative groups.
