We started the day out finishing up chapter 7 of Ramona the Pest. Afterwards we got into collaborative groups to come up with questions for the Discussion Director role and as well as come up with a summary for chapter 7. (RL.3.1 Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers RL.3.2 Recount stories, including fables, folktales, and myths from diverse cultures; determine the central message, lesson, or moral and explain how it is conveyed through key details in the text)
For math we again got into collaborative groups, and we continued to review rounding numbers to the tens place. Tomorrow we will be focusing on rounding numbers to the hundreds place. (3.NBT.A.1 Use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100)
Coming back from lunch, we had our holiday board game getdown! Yee haw!
