Howdy folks!
We continued our sequencing of The Keeping Quilt today, adding more info and details to out graphic organizer! Once we are done sequencing the story, we can finally draw an inference as to what the story's message/moral is and back up our inference with details and evidence from the text!
We also had our first foray into the Mrs. Daly's Science Lab this year! What a great way to take science and turn it into a hands on adventure, the way science should be! In Science Lab, we analyzed how animals meet their needs of food, water, shelter/protection, and air through adaptations!
Since Science Lab cut into a nice big chunk of our recess, we had a bit of extra recess coming out of the lab:
We had some Adaptive Learning today using the Dreambox and Lexia applications during Computer Lab today:
We also discussed the homework (suffixes) for better clarification , as well as learn about the basics of kickball.
And near the end of the day, we played a game of kickball for P.E.!
