What a great day it's been! We had a few dads come in (thank you Mr. Sullivan, Mr. Keim, and Mr. Milender!) What did we get from these awesome folks? Well, we got a soda and Mentos show, some first-hand information about raising and owning chickens, and a read aloud! Yay!
For English/Language Arts, we reread a bit more on The Waterfall and discussed cause and effect:
And here's what I plan on doing tomorrow with cause and effect, but with a bit more structure and fine-tuning to it:
For math, we finally got to play Capture 5! It was a game that had us utilized our understanding of a addition AND subtraction strategies to get to a specific number on the hundreds chart! Tomorrow, we're going to focus on finding different combinations to make a certain number using 100s, 10s, and 1s.
We also shared out a few Biome Skits today as well! Unfortunately, the last biome recording got cut because of technical difficulties. You get to see a minute and thirty seconds of it though!
